Acting for the worldwide Student Housing developer. We originally acquired 2,335 sq ft in the top floor of L&G’s 55 Strand, they had only 14 months to the break date. After numerous viewings, we acquired 4th floor of 101 St Martin’s Lane, WC2 (6,404 sq ft), also L&G owned property and achieved 24 months’ Rent Free, a new market position. We simultaneously disposed of 55 Strand liability by identifying a new tenant to take a new lease on market terms, prompting a surrender Urbanest’s lease.
